Office Assistant/Bookkeeper


SMR CPA Recruitment services is seeking a highly motivated individual who has sound knowledge of accounting policies and procedures. This position is based in Mississauga. 



Your Key Responsibilities


  • General office administration and book keeping

  • Dealing efficiently with inquiries from existing clients and answering calls/emails

  • Contacting businesses and helping with the client databases

  • Other duties as required


Your Qualifications


  • Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures

  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks

  • Strong computer skills - especially Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of preparing tax returns an asset

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English - both written and oral

  • Strong customer service and strong organizational skills

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Diploma/Certificate in accounting
