Office Assistant/Bookkeeper
SMR CPA Recruitment services is seeking a highly motivated individual who has sound knowledge of accounting policies and procedures. This position is based in Mississauga.
Your Key Responsibilities
- General office administration and book keeping
- Dealing efficiently with inquiries from existing clients and answering calls/emails
- Contacting businesses and helping with the client databases
- Other duties as required
Your Qualifications
- Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong computer skills - especially Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of preparing tax returns an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English - both written and oral
- Strong customer service and strong organizational skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Diploma/Certificate in accounting
